This pregnancy I've vowed to not gain the 50 lbs I did with JT and to work out 3 days a week. So far the weight is staying off, but I'm working out 3 days a MONTH. I feel ya. I'd do much better if someone came to me and forced me.

I already have a few canisters of formula that we are donating to go to Haiti along with baby wash and lotion, powder, etc. I think I will go out and buy a few more canisters tomorrow. I am with you. Just make sure he has food and water and a sheltered bed outside. If a million cats can live behind Walmart, then he will do just fine behind your living room

Jake sucked his thumb while teething, but gave it up around 7 months or so. He did it all on his own.

Then again that boy has never liked much of anything in his mouth. Maybe that's why he was only 19 pounds when he was 9 months old. Bo will eat Jake by the time they are old enough to play together!

I think it is all relative. Thumbs are thumbs. Bo won't be the first, nor the last child to suck his thumb. If it gives him comfort so be it. Our pediatrician told us from the beginning to be thankful that Harper could self soothe with her fingers instead of having to constantly search for a pacifier or whatever else might work. She sucks on her fists, fingers, our fingers, etc.....too many other things to worry about I think. As for 17 pounds.....egads! Harper is almost that, but not quite, and she is nearly a full month older than Bo. That is one cute chunky monkey there.

We watch the train wreck too. Also because it is right after Hell's Kitchen (Ramsay is my boyfriend). It is manufactured. We laugh. It seems they chose the most self conscious, sad, pitiful women to be in the show. So much crying it is unreal!
